Singapore international graduate award

Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research, SG

This enables international students to do their PhD training in Singapore in the fields of biomedical sciences and physical sciences and engineering. The award includes a stipend worth up to SGD 30,000 annually over four years, full tuition fees, a one-time SGD 1,000 settling in allowance, and a one-time airfare grant of up to SGD 1,500.

External faculty fellowships

Stanford University, US

These enable scholars to undertake research in the humanities and social sciences in residence at the university for one full academic year. Fellowships are worth up to USD 110,000 each.

Fellowships

Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, US

These enable scholars, practitioners, journalists or public intellectuals to conduct full-time residential research in policy-relevant, non-advocacy areas that address key challenges faced by the US and the world. Approximately 15 to 20 fellowships are available per year, each worth USD 90,000 for nine months.

Franklin research grants

American Philosophical Society, US

These support scholars with the costs of research. Grants are worth up to USD 6,000 each.

Pre- and postdoctoral fellowships

Getty Foundation, US

These enable emerging researchers to complete work on projects related to the Getty Research Institute’s annual theme in Los Angeles, US. Fellowships are worth up to USD 35,000 each.

Nokia scholarships

Nokia Foundation, FI

These support individuals in pursuing a doctoral degree in information or telecommunications technology or in areas that support the development of these branches of science. In 2020, the grants were worth between €3,500 and €5,000.

WHAT YOU MAY NEED:

For those who are just curious, sitting through the webinar may result in some new information that could point to new ways of learning, particularly those who are in the process of starting their Business Continuity Management Plan (BCMP), particularly in these challenging times.

But for those who are already building up their BCMP and tying that with cyberforensic readiness strategies, you need to have copies of ISO 27001 and ISO 22301. ISO 27001 is available for a fee at the official ISO website, and several online sellers. It can also be purchased at the DTI Bureau of Philippine Standards, which I did.
